    After acquiring a spinal cord injury in 2005, I know what it’s like to have your life divided into before and after—and to realize that surviving isn’t the same as living well.

    Over time, through faith, reflection, and hard-won experience, I learned that rebuilding life after loss isn’t about “getting back to normal.”

    It’s about learning how to live after—with intention, courage, and hope.
